Welcome to StageReady Academy! I'm Lydia Rose Walker, the founder and Principle, and I've had the privilege of working as a professional singing coach and qualified Drama teacher for over five years. With training from the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in Musical Theatre and a rich background of performance experience, I am deeply passionate about nurturing talent and providing top-quality coaching to students across Shropshire and the West Midlands. My mission is to equip aspiring performers with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to thrive in the competitive world of performing arts, empowering them to shine on stage and realise their full potential.

At StageReady Academy, our vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of performers through exceptional training in Singing, Acting, and Dance. Led by a seasoned musical theatre performer, we provide private coaching, musical theatre workshops, and youth theatre direction in a supportive and professional environment. Our mission is to nurture talent, foster creativity, and equip performers with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to shine on stage and beyond. StageReady Academy Services
At StageReady Academy, we provide professional performing arts coaching to inspire and develop performers of all ages and abilities. Services include tailored singing lessons, LAMDA coaching for exams in acting and musical theatre, and musical theatre workshops for schools and communities. We also offer online lessons for flexible learning as well as direction for youth theatre productions, fostering creativity and confidence on stage.

StageReady Coaching
StageReady Coaching offers tailored one-to-one singing lessons and LAMDA coaching for both Acting and Musical Theatre exams, designed to build confidence, refine technique, and unlock each performer’s potential. Whether you're preparing for exams, auditions, or simply looking to grow as a performer, these personalized sessions provide expert guidance in a supportive environment. Coaching is available in-person at our Bridgnorth base or conveniently online, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for every student.

StageReady Workshops
StageReady Workshops deliver dynamic and engaging Musical Theatre and Drama workshops tailored for students aged 11-18 in schools and stage academies. Designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and develop performance skills, each workshop can be customized to meet the unique needs and goals of the students. Whether focusing on acting techniques, vocal performance, or ensemble storytelling, these sessions provide a fun and enriching experience that nurtures talent both on and off the stage.

StageReady Direction
StageReady Direction is led by our Academy Director, Lydia Walker, an experienced Youth Theatre Director who has worked with renowned groups such as Birmingham Youth Theatre, Stagecoach, and Wombourne High School. With a passion for storytelling and a focus on developing young talent, Lydia brings creativity, professionalism, and a fresh perspective to every production.
